About The Position

Attends to exterior and interior plant materials and specialized gardens by selecting, planting, and maintaining plant materials. Plants annual and seasonal flowers. Assists in the development of planting and maintenance programs. Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, and two years of technical training in plant maintenance, horticulture, or a related field.
• Three years floriculture or landscape experience and knowledge of floral arranging.
• Valid Category 24 Ornamental and Turf Pest Control Pesticide Applicators License from the Georgia Department of Agriculture or able to obtain certification within six months of employment.
• Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop and twist.
