About The Position

The Floral Designer/Helper assists with floral arrangements and department operations while providing courteous, efficient customer service. The role includes processing flowers, watering plants, inspecting and rotating merchandise, unloading floral deliveries, checking in merchandise, stocking coolers, maintaining prices, taking customer telephone orders, and assisting with ordering and inventory. The associate is expected to keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean and to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to have constant daily contact and interaction with various levels of individuals.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and speak with customers and provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Assist in making floral arrangements.
• Process flowers and water plants.
• Inspect and rotate merchandise daily.
• Unload floral trucks and check in merchandise.
• Stock coolers.
• Maintain correct merchandise pricing.
• Take telephone orders from customers.
• Assist with ordering merchandise and inventory.
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
• Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.
