About The Position

The Floral Clerk cares for and merchandises fresh flowers and plants, creates arrangements, and keeps the floral department clean, organized, and inviting. The role assists customers with selecting flowers and provides helpful, friendly service. Floral design skills are a plus, and the clerk may create custom bouquets and displays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old; some roles may require applicants to be at least 18.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation and to stand and move throughout the day.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters after training and in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.
• Ability to engage with customers, identify their needs, and help create suitable arrangements.
• Ability to maintain clean, efficient workspaces and manage inventory and supplies.
• Familiarity with floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems.
• Willingness to collaborate with associates and contribute to a positive team environment.

• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience.
