About The Position

Star Interior Resources is growing and seeking driven, innovative, and passionate sales professionals interested in providing turn-key flooring products and services to clients. Our headquarters are located in North Dallas, with operations in AZ and throughout the US. Star Interior Resources is a division of the Star Companies, which provides the ultimate in luxury home entertainment, amenities, custom design and includes the generations of expertise found with Starpower Home Entertainment Systems, Inc., and Ed Kellum and Son.

Requirements

  • Flooring sales: (3-5 years Minimum)
  • Experience with flooring products and materials
  • Experience measuring home or client location flooring to produce estimation
  • Experience with business-to-business sales
  • Aggressive sales attitude and demonstrated ability to close
  • Professional communication skills and demeanor
  • Demonstrated ability to work in either a retail flooring environment or with builders, developers, various sub-contractors, manufacturers, designers and architects.
  • Flooring knowledge including carpet, tile, wood, laminate, and resilient is REQUIRED
  • Utilize time wisely and multitask. Organize and manage multiple priorities/projects with impending deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, FreshSales etc,) and invoicing/project management systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and attracting new clients
  • Developing long-term relationships and managing existing accounts to drive product sales within the Main Street commercial, Senior Living, Eldercare, and residential shop-at-home markets
  • Marketing and selling a variety of flooring products
  • Promoting other company products and services
