About The Position

Perform all tasks involved in packaging product by safely operating Flooring and Banding equipment according to required specifications. Carry out basic, routine equipment maintenance and clean machinery and workspaces in the area of responsibility. Identify unacceptable product conditions and initiate appropriate corrective action. Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance. This is a rotating-shift position.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy machinery.
• Ability to work with electric, pneumatic, or hand tools.
• Ability to be trained and become certified to operate a forklift.
• Ability to comprehend and manipulate metric measurements.
• Ability to work effectively with other facility team members.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Ability to creatively problem-solve individually or as part of a group.
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders at a safe but rapid pace.
