About The Position

Perform all tasks involved in packaging product through the safe operation of Flooring and Banding equipment according to required specifications. Perform basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning on machinery and workspaces in the area of responsibility. Identify unacceptable product conditions and initiate the proper corrective action. Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repairing, or performing preventive maintenance on equipment. This is a rotating shift position.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy machinery.
• Ability to work with electric, pneumatic, or hand tools.
• Ability to be trained and become certified to operate a forklift.
• Ability to comprehend and manipulate metric measurements.
• Ability to work effectively with other facility team members.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Ability to creatively problem-solve individually or as part of a group.
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders at a safe but rapid pace.
