About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a Floor Technician for the Environmental Services Department at Avita Bucyrus Hospital. The role performs floor care, top scrubs, and floor stripping and refinishing throughout the organization, including physician clinics located off the main campuses, as requested by the EVS Manager and EVS Supervisor. The technician also cleans rooms after C-sections and emergency surgeries, which may occur in the late evening or early morning, and performs other environmental services duties as requested. The position is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., 80 hours per pay period. A commitment bonus of up to $1,500 is offered.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Ohio driver's license in good standing with the insurance company and an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
