About The Position
An opportunity is available on Vi at La Jolla Village’s housekeeping team. The Floor Technician operates standard housekeeping equipment to maintain and restore carpet and hard-surface floors in the community’s common areas, performs minor repairs as needed, and cleans common areas. The position is scheduled Saturday through Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The listed pay range is USD $23.20–$24.64 per hour.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid and current driver’s license, where applicable.
- Demonstrated skill in operating and maintaining equipment.
- Knowledge of floor-care procedures.
- Skill with chemical solutions and dilution ratios.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in floor care, housekeeping, or janitorial work in a hospitality, healthcare, environmental services, or senior living environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate standard housekeeping equipment.
- Perform routine carpet and hard-surface floor restoration and maintenance in the community’s common areas.
- Perform minor repairs as needed.
- Clean common areas of the community.
