About The Position

The Floor Technician performs day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. The role includes cleaning floors and carpets, cleaning walls and ceilings, and setting up proper safety signs before floor-cleaning activities.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, dusting, damp or wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
• Set up proper safety signs before performing floor-cleaning activities.
• Clean carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing.
