About The Position

The EVS Staff Member provides a clean and safe environment while following safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards, and departmental policies. The Floor Technician operates power equipment to maintain and clean floors. This is an on-site relief position at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; business needs may require working in various areas of the Froedtert campus and hospitals and performing basic EVS cleaning responsibilities. The schedule is 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with work every other weekend and holidays.

Requirements

At least 1 year of EVS or housekeeping experience.
Ability to read, write, or understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff while performing housekeeping duties.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of Floor Technician experience is highly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a clean and safe environment.
Observe safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards, and departmental policies.
Operate power equipment for floor maintenance and cleaning.
As a relief staff member, work in various areas of the Froedtert campus and hospitals as business needs require.
Perform basic EVS cleaning responsibilities.
