About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is hiring an experienced Floor Technician for Jewish Hospital. The role is responsible for floor and carpet care, operating floor-care equipment, and keeping equipment clean and operational. Technicians also participate in team meetings and work with other department members on projects and deep cleans. Other departmental tasks may be assigned. The posting lists first-shift hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and second-shift hours of 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., with pay of $16.00–$17.00 based on previous experience. An applicable background check and drug screening are required for employment at the facility.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous Floor Technician experience.
- Pass the applicable background check and drug screening required for employment at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Run floor-care equipment.
- Scrub hard floors using auto scrubbers and low-speed floor machines.
- Extract and bonnet carpet stains.
- Strip and refinish floors using established processes and procedures.
- Maintain equipment in clean, organized, operating condition.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Collaborate with other department members to complete projects and deep cleans.
- Perform other departmental tasks as assigned.
