About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is hiring an experienced Floor Technician for South Hospital. The role is on the second shift, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and pays $16.00–$17.00 per hour based on previous experience. The position is part of Metz Environmental Services, a family-owned and operated company focused on providing high-level service to its community while fostering a fun work environment. Applicants must have two years of previous floor technician experience. Employment at this facility requires an applicable background check and drug screening. The Floor Technician operates floor-care equipment and maintains floors and carpets using established processes and procedures. The role also includes keeping equipment clean and operational, participating in team meetings, and collaborating with department members on projects and deep cleans. Requirements
- At least two years of previous floor technician experience.
- Pass the applicable background check and drug screening required for employment at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Run floor-care equipment.
- Scrub hard floors using auto scrubbers and low-speed floor machines.
- Extract and bonnet carpet stains.
- Strip and refinish floors using established processes and procedures.
- Maintain all equipment in clean, organized, and operating condition.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Collaborate with other department members to complete projects and deep cleans.
- Perform other department tasks as assigned.
