About The Position

The Floor Technician creates a clean and safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. The role cleans designated and assigned areas, stocks designated paper items, and maintains carts and equipment in clean, contained, and working condition. Work is performed in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital and established cleaning procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in the assigned area and according to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas, including damp dusting horizontal surfaces and vents; removing trash; cleaning and scouring sinks and stools; dry and wet mopping hard-surface floors; vacuuming carpeting and upholstery; and washing windows, door frames, and other vertical surfaces.
• Stock paper items as designated.
• Maintain carts and equipment in clean, contained, and working condition.
• Perform work in accordance with OHH’s mission, vision, values, and established procedures.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the assigned area according to schedules and established procedures.
