About The Position

The Floor Supervisor is a mentor figure, company and brand ambassador for the store team and works in partnership with the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager. The Floor Supervisor is always putting into practice Oniverse Key Values: Open Mind, Passion, Pragmatism, Teamwork and Goal Orientation. The Floor Supervisor plays a key role that supports Store Management in ensuring clients experience high quality service, providing reports, executing sales strategies, in-store training, store operations together with the store team. This position is a valuable source of knowledge who contributes their expertise to enhance organizational efficiency, company, and brand knowledge. Having high energy and a positive, outgoing mindset is essential as a Floor Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the US for any Employer
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 3 to 4 years of Contemporary Fashion retail industry is highly preferred
  • High level standards of customer service and advanced knowledge of selling techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment, being self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Problem solving
  • You are able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends
  • You are able to lift in excess of 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, for a short distance engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate goals, objectives, and expectations with team
  • Ensure each team member takes part in chat-ins at the start of their shifts and before leaving for the day.
  • Delegate according to individual’s knowledge and skill set to effectively achieve results.
  • Open and willing to try different approaches to resolve issues.
  • Perform in a consistent, timely and effective manner in accordance with established company and department specific policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with all team members and management.
  • Company and Brand Alignment: Utilize retail training material according to company and brand strategies.
  • Training new hires on retail topics, such as product knowledge, customer service and internal systems
  • Assist and motivate store team to consistently deliver quality customer service and positive interactions with each guest.
  • Shares responsibility of opening, closing, visuals merchandising and stock duties with store team
