About The Position
This role involves performing the functions of a slot floor person on a daily basis, providing front-line supervision, and holding slot floor personnel accountable for patrolling their work zones. The position promotes teamwork across all departments and involves training slot floor personnel on new technology and expectations. Key responsibilities include managing JP overrides and sign-offs, researching ticket and promotional credit transactions within the Oasis System and slot machine tracking log, and understanding details visible on a slot machine's compass unit. The Floor Person will report to the Gaming Ops Supervisor/Shift Managers and will be responsible for clearing currency jams, performing general machine maintenance and ticket fills, and paying/verifying hand-paid slot jackpots. Additionally, the role requires answering guest questions related to slot machine pay tables and property promotions and events. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Mississippi Gaming License Required
- Must be at least 21 of age
Responsibilities

- Understands all detail visible on a slot machine’s compass unit
- Reports to Gaming Ops Supervisor/Shift Managers
- Clears currency jams in slot bill acceptors
- Performs general machine maintenance and ticket fills
- Pays and/or verifies hand-paid slot jackpots
- Answers guests' questions relating to slot machine pay tables and property promotions and events
- Other duties as assigned by management
