About The Position

The Utility Floor Person is responsible for controlling resin and regrind, inspection and packing product, and reporting on production. This role involves mixing resins and color concentrates to supply molding machines with correct material mixtures, ensuring each molding machine runs the correct resin, and keeping resin mixing and storage areas clean and organized. The position also includes sorting, cleaning, and granulating flash and rejected product to maximize reuse and minimize loss, performing on-line visual inspections of product, quality testing, and rejecting nonconforming product. Additionally, the Utility Floor Person affixes sleeves, labels, and stickers to finished product, packages finished product, and reports case count sheets, quality inspections, and other reports to shift supervisors and managers. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements
