About The Position
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a full-time Floor Maintenance Assistant for the Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC). This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various floor surfaces and safely moving furniture within the facility. Depending on staffing needs, the position may also involve other housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- One year of experience in floor maintenance work in a commercial or institutional setting.
- Ability to follow procedural directions in the use of cleaning products.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
- Must be in good standing with the Health Care Personnel Registry and other licensing boards/agencies.
