Located on the Brooklyn waterfront with stunning views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty, Pier 2 Roller Rink is a unique destination for locals and visitors alike. We’re seeking dependable, energetic Floor Guards to help maintain a safe and fun skating environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Must know how to skate (training provided)
- Strong awareness and attention to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Provide a clean, fun, friendly, and safe experience for every guest
- Monitor and maintain the skate floor and skate counter before, during, and after sessions
- Enforce facility rules diplomatically and consistently
- Supervise skaters to prevent accidents and injuries
- Communicate with the Session Manager, team members, and DJ regarding safety concerns
- Respond to and document incidents according to procedure
- Verify that all adult skaters have signed required waiver forms (Skater Agreement Cards in NY) and check Skater ID expiration dates
- Complete assigned cleaning duties and assist in other areas as needed
