Requirements

  • Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
  • A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
  • Access to this federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.

Responsibilities

  • Carpet spotting – spot clean heavily soiled carpet prior to shampooing.
  • Carpet shampooing – operate industrial carpet cleaner to shampoo carpets according to schedule.
  • Sweeping – sweep each area according to schedule.
  • Vacuuming – vacuum each area according to schedule.
  • We/dry vacuum – operate wet/dry vacuum for each area according to schedule.
  • Wet/dry mopping – wet/dry mop each area according to schedule.
  • Strip wax from floor – apply stripping solution either manually or with floor care equipment according to schedule.
  • Fill and empty mop buckets.
  • Mix chemicals.
  • Clean and put away equipment after use.
  • Must be willing to perform janitorial duties as assigned or when floor work slows.
