About The Position

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Crew – Swing Shift position supports a productive warehouse operation by pulling and staging customer orders, stocking product, loading product, handling returns, and performing general warehouse duties in accordance with Jordano’s Foodservice Division guidelines. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with regular overtime, including Sunday work. Due to the physical demands, schedule, and overtime expectations, this role may not be suitable as a second job.

Requirements

Use forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and other warehouse equipment as assigned and authorized.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and federal and state safety regulations.
Identify and report safety concerns, damaged equipment, housekeeping issues, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor or Safety Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Pull, stage, load, and organize customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Receive, unload, verify, and stock product in designated warehouse locations.
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and other warehouse equipment as assigned and authorized.
Verify product, quantities, labels, and order accuracy using pick sheets, labels, or warehouse documentation.
Perform quality control checks and report damaged, missing, or incorrect product to the manager or lead.
Stage and prepare orders for loading according to route sequence and company procedures.
Load product in a stable, safe, and travel-ready manner.
Assist with product returns, including verifying counts, documenting returned items, and moving product to proper locations.
Support warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, boxes, spills, and other hazards from assigned work areas.
Ensure warehouse equipment is charged, maintained, and ready for the next shift.
Work in cooler, freezer, dry warehouse, dock, and loading areas as assigned.
