Partner with peers, on-air talent, producers, directors, managers, and members of the public to help ensure a professional TV newscast/show is produced. This role involves operating and moving TV cameras and teleprompters, and floor directing for live and pre-recorded productions. The Floor Crew member will communicate clearly and quickly using verbal and non-verbal cues to talent, assist talent as directed by a supervisor, and aid in the preparation of scripts and materials for productions. Responsibilities also include setting up, tearing down, and arranging props, furniture, and other items, including lighting and cabling. The role requires maintaining the studio through cleaning and organizing equipment and set materials, and responding effectively in crisis situations and during breaking news, handling last-minute changes. Reporting to work on time and working the established schedule is essential, with the ability to work other hours or alternate schedules as needed. Limited travel and work on location may occur in special circumstances. The Floor Crew member will also complete other duties as requested and needed.
