About The Position

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Winona, MN. In this role, you'll help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of a large retail facility by operating floor care equipment, maintaining hard floor surfaces, cleaning carpets, and performing general cleaning duties. No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial, floor care, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, and routine maintenance
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently
