About The Position

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in the Ridgedale Area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active, and seeing the results of their work every day. You'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail environment clean, safe, and ready for customers. No floor care experience is required as we can train the right candidate.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently
