About The Position

Morgan Properties is hiring a hands-on, dependable Floating Service Technician to support three Rochester-area communities. The role is based at Brockport Crossings in Brockport, New York, and includes regular travel to Crossroads, a 150-unit community, and Hickory Hollow, a 55+ community in Spencerport. The position offers variety across assigned properties and includes a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Compensation is $23.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus, $300 Morgan Essentials, $15 per day for on-call coverage, and mileage/travel support between communities.

Requirements

• Be hands-on and dependable.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to travel between sites.

• HVAC/EPA certification is a plus; the employer is willing to help the right person grow.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns, make-readies, and general maintenance across all three properties.
• Perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and carpentry.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests with a respectful, customer-first attitude.
• Assist with preventative maintenance.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Travel between assigned communities.
