About The Position

Morgan Properties is hiring a Floating Service Technician for an 806-unit apartment community. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving service issues, maintaining interior and exterior areas, responding to maintenance tickets, and communicating with residents and office staff. The position requires participation in a paid rotating on-call schedule and availability for emergency events. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may change based on business needs. Base pay is $22.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC, EPA, or CFC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues involving HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical systems, and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff about repairs and updates.
• Participate in paid rotating on-call coverage and be available and prepared for emergency events.
