Floating Service Technician
About The Position
Morgan Properties is seeking a dedicated Floating Service Technician for a 200-unit apartment community. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, maintaining interior and exterior areas, responding to service tickets, and communicating with residents and office staff. The position offers a base pay of $18.00–$20.00 per hour, plus listed incentives and benefits. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with required paid rotating on-call participation and availability for emergency events. The schedule may change based on business needs.
Requirements
- Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
- Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, EPA, or CFC certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot service issues involving HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.
- Participate in the paid rotating on-call schedule and be available and prepared for emergency events.
