Floating Community Leasing Associate
About The Position
The Floating Community Leasing Associate represents Fairfield to prospective residents across multiple communities in the San Diego, California region, including Liberty Station, Hillcrest, Little Italy, and Chula Vista. Travel throughout the region is supported by a monthly auto allowance. The role combines sales, customer service, and marketing to create exceptional living experiences and support leasing success. The associate serves as a first point of contact for prospects and residents, showcases community features, closes leases, delivers service, and supports resident retention. The position also manages lease files and system updates, uses Yardi for leasing processes, maintains compliance with policies and regulations, updates social media, performs marketing tasks, monitors local market conditions, and shops competitors. The role requires safe and cooperative work, effective and respectful communication, and adherence to performance standards, applicable laws, and company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Leasing or real estate experience.
- Experience using Yardi or similar property management software.
