About The Position

This is a Float Pool RN position requiring flexibility to float between 8 different units within the hospital. The role involves providing care to various patient populations, including ED border patients, acute mental health unit patients, and non-vented ICU transfer patients. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips. The position offers 36 or 48 hours per week with rotating day/evening shifts and includes some night rotations. The clinician-to-patient ratio is up to 5:1 during the day and evening, and up to 6:1 at night.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location
• 2 years working as a Traveler
• Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours
• Must be able to perform Cardiac Drips and Reading Tele Strips

Nice To Haves

• 2 years experience preferred
