About The Position

Villas of Holly Brook is hiring a full-time float pool nurse to work across its 27 locations in Central and Southern Illinois. The employee uses the same company policies and computer system throughout their employment. The role provides resident care, operational assistance to the Wellness Director, and support to staff, and may coordinate materials, equipment, and supplies. The nurse is responsible for implementing, delivering, and coordinating care services in the community. The posting describes the role as open to a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).

Requirements

Hold an RN or LPN license required to practice under state regulations.
Have experience in direct patient care and assessment or observation of clinical conditions.
Be CPR certified and have knowledge of basic first aid.
Complete all state-required training to maintain licensure.
Be able to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the position.
Work weekends, as required.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising the medication program and medication room activity, and help residents self-administer medication.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
Report significant incidents or changes in residents’ needs to the Executive Director or Wellness Director.
Assist with completing resident assessments and service plans.
Assist in training assisted living staff and participate in orientation for new staff.
Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs, and staff meetings.
Assist with scheduling and staffing caregivers as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
