About The Position

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is seeking an LPN Float for its Adult Medicine practice based in Cape Coral, Florida. The position floats between Adult Medicine locations as departmental needs arise. The LPN performs patient intake, administers prescribed medications and treatments, accurately records chart information in the patient management system, supports the Clinical Coordinator and other clinical team members, and maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, current State of Florida license as a practical nurse (LPN).
• Have great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately.
• Be able to develop and maintain good rapport and cooperative working relationships with providers, staff, and patients.
• Have knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications.
• Have one year of clinical experience or a combination of medical education and work experience.
• Hold CPR certification or be able to obtain it upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and medication review.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards.
• Accurately record chart information in the patient management system.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator and other clinical team members as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
• Float between Adult Medicine locations as departmental needs arise.
