Float Medical Assistant
About The Position
Frontier Dermatology is seeking a dermatology Float Medical Assistant to support clinics in Mill Creek, Everett, and Monroe. The position involves assisting multiple providers with procedures and performing a variety of tasks in different clinic settings. Medical assistants work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to patient care through rooming patients, assisting providers during procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks. The role calls for exceptional customer service, strong organization, and attention to detail. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The stated wage range is $25.00–$31.00 per hour, plus a float differential. Pay depends on factors including work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability. Requirements
- Must be certified or registered as a Medical Assistant through the Washington State Department of Health.
- High school diploma or GED, and 1–3 months of related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Room patients.
- Assist providers with procedures.
- Provide patient education.
- Perform daily patient tasks.
- Travel between the Mill Creek, Everett, and Monroe clinic locations.
