About The Position
The Clinical Partner II (CP) is a staff position that provides basic technical nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CP is a valued member of the nursing team and works closely with the assigned RN to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care. The CP is not an independent practitioner; functions and tasks must be delegated and overseen by the RN. Before assigning a task, the RN should assess the CP’s competence. Tasks such as wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, or discontinuing a Foley catheter should not be performed unless the CP is competent and signed off on the task. The estimated pay range is $18.15–$23.60 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school, certificate, GED, training, or equivalent experience.
- State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or current Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Previous CNA experience.
