About The Position
The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills for which they have been deemed competent, as well as delegated tasks such as wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, and discontinuing a Foley catheter. The work is performed under the direction and/or supervision of a registered nurse and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida statutes, and Baptist Health South Florida policy. The CP collaborates closely with the assigned RN as a valued member of the nursing team to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care. Assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on patient care are examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel. The estimated pay range is $18.15–$23.60 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or experience.
- CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida preferred.
