About The Position
The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills for which they have been deemed competent, as well as delegated tasks, under the direction and/or supervision of a registered nurse. Examples include wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, and discontinuing a Foley catheter. The role follows the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida statutes, and Baptist Health South Florida policy. The CP works closely with the assigned RN as a valued member of the nursing team to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care. Assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on a patient's care are examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel. The estimated pay range is $18.15–$23.60 per hour, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus is available for candidates with experience.
Requirements
- CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Nursing Assistant credentials are listed among the licenses and certifications.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience is preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida is preferred.
Responsibilities
