About The Position

The Clinical Partner II (CP) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical nursing care skills under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CP is a valued member of the nursing team and works closely with the assigned RN to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care. The CP is not an independent practitioner; functions require RN delegation and oversight. Examples include wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, and discontinuing a Foley catheter. The RN should assess the CP’s competence before assigning a task, and a task should not be performed unless the CP is competent and has been signed off on it.

The estimated pay range is $18.15–$23.60 per hour, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus is available with experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or experience listed as an accepted education background.
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical nursing care skills under the direction and supervision of an RN.
• Collaborate with the assigned RN to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care.
• Perform delegated tasks under RN oversight, such as wound care and discontinuing a saline lock or Foley catheter, only when competent and signed off.
