Clinical Partner 1, Observation Unit, $4000 Bonus, FT, 7P-7:30A
About The Position
The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills for which they have been deemed competent and performs delegated tasks, such as wound care and discontinuing a saline lock or Foley catheter, under the direction and/or supervision of a registered nurse. Work must comply with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida statutes, and Baptist Health policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team and collaborates closely with the assigned RN to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care. Assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on patient care are examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel. The position is full-time on a 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. schedule in the Observation Unit. Estimated pay is $17.11–$22.24 per hour, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus is available with experience.
Requirements
- CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
- At least 1 year of experience required.
- High school, certificate, GED, training, or experience listed as an education qualification.
- Licensed Practical Nurse certification/license listed.
- Basic Life Support certification listed.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification listed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida is preferred.
- One year of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
