About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Float Assistant Teacher for the classroom at its Malvern school. The teacher plans, supervises, and implements an early childhood education program in accordance with school policies and the school’s philosophy, while maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational environment. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations. The school emphasizes innovative, child-centered programming, teamwork, and a professional atmosphere.

Requirements

• Meet one of the listed education and experience pathways for a lead teaching position: a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a bachelor's degree with 30 relevant credit hours and one year of experience with children; an associate's degree in a relevant field and two years of experience with children; or an associate's degree with 30 relevant credit hours and three years of experience with children.
• Relevant fields include early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services.
