About The Position

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a dedicated team member to support its Havertown Center as an Assistant Teacher Float. This full-time position works Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The role supports the center by working with older toddlers and preschool-aged children and helping ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong teamwork and flexibility.
• Ability to keep information private.
• Basic knowledge of childcare rules.
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete a health assessment with TB screening before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience working with children, including infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Step into different classrooms as needed to provide coverage and maintain required ratios.
• Support daily routines and classroom activities.
• Actively supervise children at all times to keep them safe.
• Build and maintain relationships with children, families, coworkers, and administrators.
• Follow the responsibilities outlined by the classroom lead teacher.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments.
