Gulfstream Aerospace CorporationSavannah, GA
Onsite

About The Position

Thermofluid Analysis engineers / interns are responsible for a wide variety of analytical work, focusing on thermal modeling and fluid systems performance. The group develops new techniques to improve aircraft system design, especially on new aircraft programs. Thermofluids Analysis engineers build numerical simulations to predict environmental conditions throughout the aircraft, and to predict pneumatic, fuel, and hydraulic system performance. The group is also responsible for test data analysis in support of certification, ensuring all equipment on the aircraft remains within acceptable temperature and ventilation environments. The student will gain knowledge of aircraft system design, FAR Part 25 regulations, advanced simulation techniques, and data analysis techniques. The individuals will be participating in real projects while being mentored by senior engineers.
