What we do: The Flight Controls team is responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of the Gulfstream Flight Control Systems across all large cabin programs. These systems are complex in nature and are designed by a highly cross-functional team of exceptional engineers in the areas of complex electronics, software, electrical and hydraulic actuation. We are seeking candidates with broad skillsets and various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to work right here at our Savannah facility.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Completion of sophomore year is required prior to the internship start date.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • Coding (MATLAB, Python)
  • Lab work with a focus on integration test and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Develop, Design, and Certify hardware and software aspects of the Flight Control System equipment as a Verification Engineer
  • Write and execute system functional verification testing in an integrated lab environment
  • Develop tools that are used by engineering for fleet reliability data analysis and system troubleshooting
  • Support troubleshooting of in-service issues impacting component reliability
