Join the Stability and Control team within Flight Dynamics and Flight Sciences for a Spring 2027 internship! Our team is responsible for defining airplane stability and control requirements that drive the design and sizing of horizontal and vertical tail surfaces, flight control surfaces, and system architectures necessary to deliver exceptional flying and handling qualities. Day-to-day work centers on desktop simulations, pilot-in-the-loop simulations, and flight testing, encompassing both normal and abnormal operating conditions. Given the multidisciplinary nature of the Flight Dynamics organization, interns may also contribute to simulation model development, support flight control law design activities, and participate in preliminary aircraft design initiatives. In addition, our team is undertaking significant upgrades to our analysis and engineering toolsets, enhancing our ability to perform studies, collect and analyze data, and make informed decisions throughout the aircraft development lifecycle. Join us as we help shape the flight characteristics and handling qualities of future Gulfstream aircraft, and lead the charge in creating and delivering the world’s finest aviation experience!
