About The Position
Smyth is hiring a Flexographic Press Operator to set up and operate a Mark Andy flexographic printing press while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety. The role is based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The operator will monitor print quality, adjust equipment as needed, manage materials and reduce waste, and collaborate with teammates to maintain efficient production. The position also supports Lean Manufacturing, KAIZEN, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mark Andy experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- At least 2 years of printing experience.
- Experience with cold foils, hot stamp dies, rotary screens, and tactile varnishes.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
