About The Position

The Flexographic Press Operator operates a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels that meet production schedules and customer requirements. The role includes printing jobs with 4 to 10 colors, including process and spot color, and matching labels to customer-approved proofs and color standards. The operator follows quality and safety procedures, completes quality documentation, maintains and cleans press components, reports repair or maintenance needs, and keeps the work area clean. The position is based on a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a weekday off determined by production needs. The training shift is to be determined. Pay is based on experience at the time of offer.

Requirements

At least 1 year of flexographic printing experience.
Detail-oriented and able to follow standard work instructions.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with coworkers.
Ability to safely work in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.
Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including regularly lifting or moving up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus to inspect materials and products.

Responsibilities

Operate flexographic presses for 4- to 10-color jobs, including process and spot color printing.
Produce labels that match customer-signed proofs and color standards.
Follow established quality management system procedures.
Communicate job-specific information and changes to the supervisor promptly to minimize production downtime.
Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
Regularly inspect and clean press parts and report repair or maintenance needs.
Adhere to established safety practices.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
