About The Position
INCOM Manufacturing Group is hiring a skilled Flexographic and Digital Press Operator for its Wheatfield, NY production team. The operator sets up and runs flexographic and digital presses and operates label and tape converting equipment. This hands-on role is suited to someone who takes pride in print quality and enjoys variety in their work. It is a steady Monday–Friday day shift, with no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read job specifications and work independently.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of flexographic press experience preferred.
- Digital press or converting experience is a plus; the employer will train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic and digital printing presses.
- Mount plates, mix inks, and adjust press settings to meet job specifications.
- Monitor print quality throughout each run and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products and troubleshoot press and quality issues.
- Operate label and tape converting equipment.
- Perform routine press maintenance and keep accurate production records.
