About The Position

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. The role involves working and training at multiple sites and at multiple start and end times.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Willingness to work and train at multiple sites and at multiple start and end times.
Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and control access.
Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of client properties and complete assigned rounds.
Enforce site regulations, directives, and post orders concerning personnel, visitors, and the area.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Interact frequently with client employees and guests, providing customer service and information.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Respond to emergencies with effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
