About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a full-time Flex Security Officer for the Lockbourne, Ohio area. The role provides general security services for clients, helping maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Open availability is required, and the position pays $19.00 per hour. The officer works with clients, visitors, employees, and the public, follows DSI and client requirements and post instructions, and participates in training on general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual. Work may involve foot patrols, moderate lifting, and exposure to all-weather conditions as needed. Employment is subject to criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings, as well as other pre-employment requirements.

Requirements

Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
Open availability to work flexible hours.
At least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license.
Reliable means of transportation and communication.
Must meet all pre-employment requirements.
Must pass criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while performing general security duties for clients.
Observe, correct, and report hazards to promote safety.
Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements and specific post instructions.
Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting as required.
Work in all-weather elements as needed.
