About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Flex Security Officer to serve the Lexington, Salisbury, Concord, Winston-Salem, Dobson, and surrounding areas. The role involves providing general security duties for clients while maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Open availability is required. Officers must comply with DSI and client requirements and post instructions, participate in training, and follow general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual. The work may include routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and working in all-weather elements.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
• Open availability to work flexible hours.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and NCPPSB.
• Reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to clients.
• Observe, correct, and report hazards to promote safety.
• Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements and specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting as required.
• Work in all-weather elements as needed.
