About The Position

United Protective Services is hiring dependable, professional on-call Flex Security Officers to provide coverage at multiple client locations in College Station and Bremond, Texas, including a solar energy facility in Bremond. Officers are contacted as needed to cover employee call-outs, approved time off, and other staffing requirements. Work is not guaranteed, and available hours vary according to operational needs. Officers must be able to travel to both cities, work at different locations, and adapt to site-specific procedures and expectations. Pay is $21.00 per hour for assignments at the Bremond solar site and $17.00 per hour for assignments at College Station locations. Compensation depends on the location where the shift is worked. This is a part-time, on-call position, and occasional travel is required.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Texas Level II Security Officer License or be able to obtain one.
• Be able to travel to both College Station and Bremond, Texas.
• Have reliable transportation to and from all assigned locations.
• Maintain flexible availability for varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Be able to accept assignments based on operational needs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at assigned client locations when called upon.
• Travel between College Station and Bremond, Texas, as required.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated security areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, security concerns, and safety hazards.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports.
• Follow client-specific procedures, post orders, and company policies.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Adapt quickly to different assignments, schedules, and site requirements.
