About The Position

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and client sites. The role involves customer service, completing assigned rounds and property tours, identifying and reporting safety concerns or suspicious activity, and using technology devices throughout the shift. Hours and shifts may vary.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Driver certified.
One year of security experience.

Responsibilities

Preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and client sites.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
