About The Position

The Flex / Relief Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves customer service, following site post orders, completing assigned rounds, using technology devices, and responding appropriately to safety concerns and emergencies.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies using rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
